Cast Previews are in full force at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as travelers venture to the planet of Batuu, where immersive, intergalactic excitement awaits around every corner. My affinity for the Star Wars franchise is admittedly muted by my all-encompassing love affair with Game of Thrones, however, unrelenting fandom is something I can most definitely appreciate, and the fandom force is strong with this gorgeous land. The local sights, sounds, smells and tastes of planet are something to behold, and every detail is brought to life in a colorful burst of out-of-this-world topography. I had the privilege of living out my own Star Wars adventure this weekend, so here are a few things I did and some photos to document the occasion!
- Flew the Millennium Falcon (twice) and made it home safely
- Stopped into Oga’s Cantina and sipped on the Blue Bantha
- Grabbed a bite in Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo, a restaurant housed in a working hangar bay. We treated our taste buds to the Smoked Kaadu Ribs (Sticky Pork Ribs, Blueberry Corn Muffin, Cabbage Slaw) and the fan favorite: Felucian Garden Spread (Plant-Based “Kefta”, Herb Hummas, Tomato-Cucumber Relish, Pita).
- Took at least 3 trips through the marketplace
